Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Nika Mammadova. I am a third year at SFSU, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Women Gender Studies. I'm originally from Baku, Azerbaijan, but was raised in Orange County, California and have been living in San Francisco for two years now. My interests include reading (from WGS scholars to 1960s American authors), going to art museums, and (of course) watching Netflix. I am looking forward to the upcoming semester and broadening my understanding of the world through learning about Muslim Feminisms.
